Tiny Paper House Luminaries with Arts for Hearts Creative Team@ HABITAT RESTORE

Limited to 15 Students ages 13 - adult only.

Join Arts for Hearts Creative Lauren Burroughs Kovaleski and learn how to make a leaf wreath using paper cardstock. Beautiful and easy to make. All supplies provided. This is a free class, but registration is required. LIMITED TO 25 and all participants must be 13 -adult. Class is held at Habitat Restore located at 404 Madison Street in Clarksville, TN. The glass begins at 1:00 -3:00 pm.

IMPORTANT: This class begins promptly at 1:30 pm. If you arrive late more than 10 min late you will not be able to participate.

If you are unable to make the class after signing up, please cancel your registration so someone else can take your place.

Arts for Hearts is a program under the Arts and Heritage Development Council.

Join Arts for Hearts Creative Lead Liz Thomas @ Steven A Cohen Military Family Clinic for some spooky painting fun. Particpants will paint and create a spooky decoration using clay pots and acrylic paint. All supplies will be provided. Space is limited. Registration is required. Ages 8 -adult.

Liz Thomas is a veteran and retired teacher. She is an avid crafter-artist and stamper.

Steven A Cohen Family Military Clinic is located at 775 Weatherly Dr. Please plan to arrive early as class begins promptly at 5:30 pm.

Arts for Hearts @ Loaves and Fishes Louisiana Saturday Night Festival

Arts for Hearts volunteers will be on hand to help support Loaves and Fishes during their annual fundraiser. Volunteers will help participants create Mardi- Gras masks and will be available to paint faces. Kids 10 and under free. Arts for Hearts does not charge for their classes. This fee is for Loaves and Fishes to support feeding Clarksville’s hungry.

Barb Kane @ Fisher House

Arts for Hearts Co-Founder Barbara Kane hosts an art class at Ft. Cambell’s Fisher House for clients and organizations that support Fisher House. Fisher House is located on the Ft. Campbell Military installation and is a temporary "home away from home" where families can be close to a military loved one receiving medical treatment at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (and other local healthcare partners) for a serious illness or injury.

This is NOT open to the public.

APSU GIRLS LEADERSHIP CAMP (PRIVATE CLASS)

Girls attending the APSU Leadership camp will explore collage making with Arts for Hearts Volunteers. Hosted by the APSU College of Business, the leadership camp includes a variety of exciting, interactive and hands-on activities designed to develop the self-confidence, teamwork, trust and problem-solving skills that foster success at this important stage in the participants’ lives. The camp includes indoor and outdoor activities designed to meet the interests, capabilities and opportunities of middle school-age girls. Participants will be challenged mentally, socially and physically in age-appropriate ways using the many resources available at Austin Peay.

The camp will enroll up to 30 girls who will be in the sixth, seventh or eighth grade in the fall. Participants will engage in activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 10-14, on the APSU campus. The cost per camper is $150, which covers activities for the week.

Art Pop Up Studio @ Gilda's Club

Arts for Hearts offers a free art class at Gilda’s Club for members. Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, is dedicated to providing support, education and hope to all people impacted by cancer, including family members and friends of those diagnosed.

Clarksville Montgomery County Nonprofits ware coming together to celebrate with the community. We will be participating in the Community Foundation’s Big Payback. We want to highlight the great work that Clarksville-Montgomery Nonprofits are doing TOGETHER! This gives us an opportunity to hang out with our volunteers, donors and inspire new friends to learn about our work- and it helps raise funds for our programs.

Free Hot dogs, and lots of fun. Arts for Hearts will set up a flower pounding Pop Up art class.
